The main cause of single column hydraulic press plug seizure is cylinder bore deformation. It is usually caused by the center steel ball falling off during assembly. When the pump is started, the end face of the cylinder is stuck, causing the cylinder bore to deform and bite the plunger. In addition, if the center return spring is broken and the cylinder support roller bearing remains damaged, the single column hydraulic press plug may be bitten or the pump may be damaged.
When the single column hydraulic press plug is stuck, all major parts such as the cylinder block must be disassembled for inspection. Moreover, the possibility of repairing damaged parts is often small, so replacement is usually used to eliminate them.
The single column hydraulic press pump is running for a long time. Due to excessive wear of the plunger pair, the fitting gap is too large, causing the pump to be unable to increase pressure or produce insufficient oil when operating at high pressure. The reasons for the above phenomenon: in addition to the oil factor, there are also low hardness of the plunger during heat treatment, substandard material, and high roughness on the cylindrical surface. However, when this phenomenon occurs, it should be characterized by relatively uniform wear.
For plungers and cylinders that are extremely worn, they are generally replaced. Although this repair method is quick and effective, it is not economical. In fact, as long as the deformation of the cylinder bore is not very serious, precision or grinding methods can generally be used to make the shape and position accuracy meet the tolerance requirements. Then replace it with a plunger with an enlarged cylinder outer diameter. When using the single column hydraulic press, the effect is basically the same as replacing the parts with new ones.
Single column hydraulic press The plunger-sliding shoe pair whose cylinder surface has been worn is not necessarily a waste product. It can be completely repaired to the required hardness, fit size, accuracy and surface through surface plating, tin plating or low-temperature ferrite. Roughness requirements.
